As a part of my Sports Business minor, I have been involved numerous hands on sports-oriented projects.  One of which I have included here.

A group of four student-athletes and one Athletic Training student have identified the need for a supplement education program in the St. Louis University Athletic Department. The goal of the program is to define what a supplement is, identify popular supplement products, explain the consequences of unhealthy supplement use, offer healthy alternatives to supplement use and identify resources for further information. The program is intended to be delivered to all student-athletes annually before the fall competition season. Developed in collaboration with the National Center for Drug Free Sport, the St. Louis University athletic department and NCAA resources.

This projecy was selected by the Sports Business Department to be showcased at the 2014 Senior Legacy Symposium.  Only 154 students were chosen for the symposium which provides selected students with a venue for professional presentation. Seniors have an opportunity to leave behind a major contribution to their field of study or to the University. The event is open to the entire University community.
